There are plenty of options to suit every desire and every level. Whether you want to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time, perfect your technique, or demonstrate your 180 turns in the snowpark, our instructors are here to help you progress.
Ski schools
École du Ski Français ESF
The French Ski School has 180 instructors to teach you downhill skiing, snowboarding, fon skiing, monoskiing, telemark. the majority of instructors speak English, Italian, German, Russian, etc.
Avoriaz Alpine Ski School
The Avoriaz Alpine Ski School is a school located on the Avoriaz plateau. We have been offering the best in skiing and snowboarding since 1992. We provide lessons suited to all ages and skill levels, in private sessions or small groups.
Children's Village by ESF
For your summer in Avoriaz, the Village des Enfants will be open from July 6 to August 22, 2025, offering children aged 3 to 16 a holiday full of sports, nature, and adventure.

Avoriaz 1800 is located in the heart of Portes du Soleil, one of the largest cross-border ski areas in the world, where 12 French and Swiss resorts are interconnected.
Lift passes ski/snow
